Cartoon Impressions #13: Archer

Cartoon Impressions is based on my personal impressions of various cartoons.
This gives more weight to my own opinion. If you don’t like what’s said or written in this series, understand everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

Well, eventually I was going to talk about this show. Good thing I love it! This show for anybody who doesn't know is about a secret agent named Sterling Archer who works at ISIS, the International Secret Intelligence Service. ISIS is in the business of global espionage. Through ISIS Archer is sent all over the world on missions foiling the plans of the many foes he encounters. Archer is a show that could have easily fell flat on it's behind. From the trailers and commercials of this show, you probably wouldn't think much of this show when you look at it. The animation is really stiff and lacks a lot of expression and exaggeration (That goes triple for the character animation). If you watch this show you'll find that a lot of the appeal of this show is not in the animation, but in the characters and witty dialogue. You'll find yourself laughing more times then you think. Another fun plus, (for me at least) is that this show is animated in America, in Atlanta, Georgia to be exact. Also it's funny to note that the voice actors on this show have working with each other on other shows check the wiki here. I love who they got to voice the role of Archer, Bob Belcher himself  H. Jon Benjamin.

With a show as good as this one I'm shocked to know that not enough people have tried this show out yet. Well to quote Green, Eggs, & Ham, "Try it, you might like it!". I can speak for many people that if you give this show a try chances are you won't be disappointed.
